VIGGO SANDVIK – FISHING IN VALDRES (1988)
Viggo Sandvik (Hansen) was a trumpeter in the group Howards in the 1970s, along with Maj Britt Andersen, among others. Viggo participated in one Howards LP: "La oss leve livet her". Bruno Viggo Sandvik was also in the group Bruno, who never released any albums, but was in the TV program "Blanda drops" on NRK.
Viggo Sandvik was the vocalist in Vazelina from 1981 to 2006. With Vazelina he released 15 albums. During his time with Vazelina, Sandvik also released two solo albums.
Fisking i Valdres is an album from 1988 that sold huge quantities when it was released. The title song is a cover version of the American hit song "Speedy Gonzales" from 1961, recorded by Pat Boone and contains 11 other translated hits with Norwegian lyrics.
