VESLEFRIKK – 1980 (1980)
Veslefrikk was a Norwegian folk rock band, with the spirit of punk at the bottom, which was founded under the name Remmer & Tøy in the autumn of 1977 and disbanded in 1982. They gained an early reputation for being an energetic and outgoing live band, which created a stir among audience. Anne Grete Preus, Per Vestaby, Hege Rimestad, Frank B. Olsen and Jarle Børresen were the core of Veslefrikk, and other musicians came and went. Per and Anne Grete later started the group Can Can. Veslefrikk debuted on Plateselskapet Mai in 1978 with the album Veslefrikk and two years later came 1980, which has never before been released on CD.
