Description
The songwriter and musician Unni Wilhelmsen plays folk-influenced pop music in the original American folk tradition. She is one of the country's most touring artists, both solo and with Di Derre. She was discovered by Finn Bjelke who sent her to Polygram and Ole Evenrud, where she got a record deal after playing a recording of "Won't Come Near You Again". Her debut album To Whom It May Concern was recorded and produced in Bugge's Room, by Bugge Wesseltoft. The album received two Spellemann awards for 1996; "Female Artist of the Year" and "Album of the Year".
