Description
TRAMTEATRET – DEEP SEA THRILLER…OG ENDA MER (1977)
Tramteatret was a Norwegian, politically radical theater group that was active in the 70s and 80s. The group was founded in 1976 on the initiative of Liv Aakvik, after a nucleus left the Studentersamfunnets Theater at Chateau Neuf in Oslo. In the band's purpose paragraph, it is stated that the theater shall stand on the side of the weak and oppressed against the oppressors and reach out to the entire population of Norway. Deep Sea Thriller…og enda mer (1977) is a Norwegian revue that dealt with oil and problematic issues. Aftenposten praised the performance and called it "a unique theater experience". This was Tramteatret's breakthrough. The record has never been released on CD.
