Until 1976, Tobben & Ero recorded five LPs based on Norwegian lyrics of the highest quality and modern arrangements with clear references to contemporary, international vice rock. Bryllup i Kanaan was recorded at the same time as Gi meg et hus, and contains a number of traditional folk songs, songs written by Tobben & Ero, Bellman and Cornelis Vreeswijk - who also sings and plays on the record.
