The Yum Yums is one of Moss' longest-running bands, and the Moss band that has had the greatest international reach, with album releases all over the world. The brains behind The Yum Yums is the vocalist and guitarist Morten Henriksen, who previously had a number of bands behind him, including Siste Dagers Helvete and The Cosmic Dropouts. Keeping up with this band's history as far as musicians are concerned is a complicated affair. Bassists and drummers have come and gone, and in a couple of cases returned again. The Yum Yums were started by Henriksen, John Erling "Martin" Martinsen on guitar, Stig Amundsen on bass and Otto Gamst on drums. Henriksen and Martinsen are the only ones who have been with the band the whole time, otherwise there have been a lot of changes on both bass and drums. Per Madsen took over Gamst's place shortly after the start, but Anders Møller (Gluecifer, Euroboys) played drums in the band for a year from 1994 to 1995. Tomas Dahl joined in 1995, and was with the band until 1999, when Otto Gamst joined again. That same year, Stig Amundsen left to join Gluecifer, and then Dahl switched to playing bass. Sweet As Candy was originally released on the German Screaming Apple label in 1997, but with completely different mixes.
