Description
"Motor-rock with nitroglycerin in the tank: the guys speed up a bit before both spin off into dirty bass passages with fuzz on the edge and stomping monster truck drums," wrote Harald Fossberg in Aftenposten in his review of the album in 2003.
The Mormons from Lillehammer is already one of the best things you can experience on stage, and damn if they don't manage to transfer that to a record too. The lineup consists of Morten Lunde on bass/vocals and Simen Jeistad on drums/vocals, and we promise you've never heard anything like it from a duo before. The Mormons went to Nashville to record the album, and even got Mark Nevers himself (Calexico, Lambchop, Will Oldham) as producer. This is straight-up garage punk that owes as much to Chuck Berry and the Sonics as it does to Motorhead and the Ramones.
