Tellusalie was a Norwegian rock band from Fredrikstad that existed from 2001 to 2014. The band's first release was the EP TellUsALie which was released in 2003. Since then, it has released three albums. The albums Tangerine Dreams and The Man Across The Fountain were both produced by Knut Schreiner . The Man Across The Fountain was recorded three times. First in the rehearsal studio, but the hard drive crashed there. The second time was in the Silvertone studio in Fredrikstad, but then they were not completely satisfied. Therefore, Tellusalie rigged took place in the Library's Aula in Fredrikstad to make a third attempt to record their third album, which contains no less than 18 songs. This is what Dagsavisen wrote at the time: "Together they have created a very solid album made up of equal parts ruff rock and rock history, and clearly spiced up by the producer's fascination with American West Coast rock," Dagsavisen wrote about their debut. The second album was characterized as "Rock of the American, low-key type, with more than a few drops of melancholy. One of the year's most personal and heartfelt album releases."
