TANGLE EDGE - LIVE IN THE PRECENCE OF APHRODITE (1986)
Rock band from Narvik, started by guitarist Ronald Nygaard and bassist Hasse Horrigmoe, who started playing together in 1978. They had many band projects going on, and from April 1980 until July 1982 they were called Sentralvaskeriet. This band had three members as a permanent core, in addition to the two mentioned, drummer Tom Steinberg was also there. Together with vocalist Kjartan Edvardsen they participated on the LP Draugen vise- og pop-festival 80. Rune Forselv started on drums in August 1982, at the same time as they changed their name to Tangle Edge, but he left in November of the same year. Steinberg joined again until February 1985. Now Tangle Edge played prog rock – long songs with room for improvisations. In the fall of 1983 came the MC Improvised Dropouts, and in 1987 they followed up with Live In The Precence Of Aphrodite. Here Svein Harald "Klasken" Hanssen participated on vocals on side two.
