SVEIN TANG WA – TANG WA’S REVY (1986)Svein Tang Wa was a Norwegian singer, lyricist, composer and visual artist. He was trained as a graphic artist and released six music albums. He also contributed as a lyricist and composer for established Rogaland bands such as the Stavanger Ensemble, Vamp og Leif og kumpiesane. His first album Toffa was released in 1980 with lyrics about a fictional Stavanger boy with the same name. Gunnar Roalkvam was behind most of the lyrics while Tang Wa wrote the music. Tang Wa recorded and re-released the album in 2008 after the original recordings were lost. In 1986, Tang Wa's revue came out, which was released on its own label.
