Description
SNU was a Norwegian humorous singing group that was formed in 1970 and held its last concert in 1977. The group consisted of Erling Bonde, Tom Mathisen and Jan Rodahl. The name Snu is an acronym for Kind Norwegian youth, a name they performed under in public. The group played an important role in Norwegian music life as the precursor to the trio Prima Vera.
The debut Grov Handel was recorded live at Chateau Neuf, while Bill. mrk "Snu" from 1974 was the band's only studio album. Most of the songs were composed and sung by Erling Bonde. Thor Andreassen participated on drums. Snu was then disbanded. Bonde went solo. Mathisen worked a little with Jonas Fjeld Band and then formed Prima Vera, while Rodahl went to Sweden.
In 1981, SNU released a "compilation album" with 19 new songs, four of which were newly recorded.
