Henning Kvitnes is approaching 20 solo albums, and in addition he has entertained us since 1980 with bands such as The Young Lords, Saturday Cowboys and Little Eden. There are few who can point to such an impressive catalogue. The rocker Kvitnes has toned down, and in recent decades he has become a kind of Østfold Åge Aleksandersen/Bjørn Eidsvåg/Trond Granlund – or a Norwegian Bob Dylan/Neil Young/Bruce Springsteen. On his brand new album, he has had help from Eva Weel on the song "Støvets år". The album is mature and harmonious, melancholic and thoughtful. A recipe he has great success with, also outside Halden.
