SHARKS & WHALES - Reaped by Man (1988)
Sharks & Whales is a rock band from Bergen. In 1988, the group released the CD Reaped By Man on the Oslo label Big Hand Records. The album was followed by a self-titled program produced by NRK television followed by appearances on radio and on stages around the country. "Reaped By Man" is perhaps best known for Mads Eriksen playing guitar. They played AOR, not too far removed from what Drama and IC Eyes did a little earlier. The album has been virtually impossible to find since it was released. The album featured Jon Bertil Myklebust, Ronny Skaar, Ole Vaksdal, Hans-Petter Isaksen, Erik Bergesen Ole Jakob Hystad, Pål Roseth, Arne Hjortland, Stein Roseth, Inger Johanne Haaland, Tone Kristin Ljøkelsøy, Mick Parker as well as the aforementioned Mads Eriksen. In 2008, they also released a new album Off the Record.
