Lars Mjøen is a Norwegian actor, writer and humorist. Before his radio and TV career, he was PR manager at Warner Bros (film) Norway. He has been part of the duo Lystad & Mjøen, as well as the comedy trio KLM, together with Knut Lystad and Trond Kirkvaag. Mjøen started his career in NRK radio together with Knut Lystad in the 1970s with the program series Bare et lite øreblikk and Bedre sent enn alvor, Gal Mix og Lystad og Mjøens chowshow. He is very interested in music and released the album Singin' in the Brain in 1974. The album was recorded in Rosenborg Studios and was produced by Johnny Sareussen, and Popol Vuh (Pete Knutsen, Arne Schulze, Jahn Teigen, Terje Methi and Thor Andreassen) was the backing band .
