ST. THOMAS – HEY HARMONY
St. Thomas was the postman from Oslo who, with naive optimism, three strokes on the guitar and half-bad English, became the first Norwegian in the Royal Albert Hall, got an international record contract, and recorded an album in Nashville that entered 2nd place on the VG list. Four years later, all bridges were burned, and life over. The whole story of St. Thomas's short but intensely rich career, of a likeable and kind-hearted artist who, with his brutal honesty and uncompromisingness, experienced greater ups and downs than most artists can dream of.
From the other side of the country, Reidar A. EIk fortunately heard St. Thomas for the first time on the radio early in his career, quickly became a superfan and then a good friend. Got to be close when his career exploded into success, but also afterwards when life was characterized by loneliness and psychological challenges.
