Perfectly Stoned - Then and Now - A Norwegian tribute to The Rolling Stones (1995/2025)
Reissue with a small dispute.
In 1995, a Norwegian tribute album to The Rolling Stones was released, featuring, among others, Jørn Lande, Casino Steel, Petter Baarli, Ottar Big Hand, Mads Eriksen, Morten Abel. Bjørn Nilsen and Casino Steel came up with the idea when it became clear that the Stones would visit Norway on the Voodoo Lounge tour. The after-show after the Stones at Valle Hovin took place on a packed Sentrum Scene, where, among others, Chris Jagger, Claudia Scott, Jørn Lande and the Backstreet Girls played in addition to Casino.
Several of the artists who were on the original album are no longer active, so we are doing a reissue with a twist. We are remastering 5 recordings from then, and adding 6 newly recorded songs with artists who are active now, creating an album that is both relevant and has historical value.
A music video for Salt of the Earth that was considered lost and misplaced has been rediscovered and restored, and is being published in conjunction with the release.
