Description
PER 'ELVIS' GRANBERG & NJS – ROCKABYE, ROLLABYE (1973)
He spent some of his childhood years in the United States, where he saw Elvis Presley on television. Granberg's career as an artist began around 1957, when he began performing in the Oslo area. He toured with the band The Souvenirs, and according to sources, had a phenomenal audience. He released a few singles and sang on an LP with Ila Storband in 1968, but continued his career in earnest in 1972 with the album Rock'n'roll Forever . The following year came Rockabye, Rollabye, where Eigil Berg (in collaboration with Jan Garbarek and Arne Schulze, among others) was given a chance.
