OLE I'DOLE – IDOLATOR (1986)
Ole Evenrud's first release from Haldense came in 1981, on the compilation album Big Voice of New Noise , and was given the name Ole i'Dole. In 1982 came the debut single "Det va'kke min skyld", which initially did not sell at all, but which became a huge hit after being included in Ti i Skuddet the following year. The albums Blond og billig (198) and Popaganda (198) followed, and on Ole's third album he chose to sing in English. The record contained a good deal of self-written music, but also cover versions of songs by Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Swedish National Team, Ted Mulry Band, Rick Springfield and Nick Lowe.
