ODD RENÉ ANDERSEN & THE CLOSE SHAVES – READ THE SIGN (2020)
Odd René Andersen started his career as a vocalist in the band Dream Police. But he really became famous when he released his solo albums, Break of dawn (1995) and Good company (1996) under the stage name René Andersen. The debut CD from 1995 sold 30,000 copies. Also has a project with Kyrre Fritzner "Everest" behind him, hence the singles "Any day now" and "Friday afternoon". Of things worth mentioning, he has warmed up for Joe Cocker, Tina Turner and the choir for Paul McCartney (!). Currently reigning in Stjernekamp, pog there has been renewed interest in his heavily translated soul gem Read the Sign from 2020 which he recorded with his backing band The Close Shaves.
