Viggo Sandvik started in the group Bruno, which never released a record, but was in the TV program "Blanda drops" in 1973. Viggo Sandvik (Hansen) also played trumpet in the group Howards in the 70s, together with i.a. Maj Britt Andersen. But he is best known as a vocalist in Vazelina from 1981 to 2006. With Vazelina he released 15 records. During the time with Vazelina, Sandvik also released two solo albums, and this is the first album where he sings Prøysen's songs.
