Description
Funhouse was a Norwegian rock trio fronted by guitarist and vocalist Marius Müller. The band was formed by Müller and drummer Totto Hansen in the late 1980s and released four studio albums and one live album from 1990 until Müller's death in March 1999. Kjetil Saunes was originally a bassist, but was replaced by Pål Reinertsen, who played on all of the albums. Per Hillestad was a drummer for a period instead of Hansen and played on the album Maximum in 1991. The band is described as a power trio that in addition to songs by Marius Müller played a number of cover songs by artists such as Jimi Hendrix. The band was known as a terrific live band where Müller was the undisputed frontman and showed off his qualities as a guitarist. This live album was recorded at Smuget in Oslo on Thursday, September 25, 1997.
