Karen Jo Fields is a Norwegian-American singer-songwriter who made her album debut in 2000 with Embrace Me . She has a Norwegian mother, while her father was an American Cherokee Indian. Her father was a musician, and Fields grew up in a musical home, first in Arizona in the USA, then in Oslo. The debut album received good reviews and many called her Norway's Joni Mitchell. It eventually sold over 7,000 copies. The follow-up became a P1 favorite and both the title track and "Let's Talk About Love" were A-listed for months. Sales eventually ended up at 20,000. Now the album is being released on LP for the first time.
