JONAS FJELD BAND – FROM THE PRESSURE 1973-1988
Terje Lillegård Jensen was born in Bodø and grew up in Fjell in Drammen. The artist name Jonas Fjeld was taken from the novel hero of the same name in the novel series by Øvre Richter Frich. He met Herodes Falsk at a youth club and they started the band Frosk which became Jonas Fjeld Rock'n'Rolf Band. After a reorganization, the band became Jonas Fjeld Bing Bang Band. The band name was later simplified to Jonas Fjeld Band. The band members were primarily Terje Lillegård Jensen, Erik Kristensen, Kim Bård Hansen, Olaf Hjellum, Tom Knutsen, Øyvind Kristensen, Bent Bredesen and Thorleif Larsen, but many came and went. But even though the band name was simplified, the career is very eclectic and varied. From humor and pre-Prima Vera to serious bluesy country rock.
