Description
JANNICKE – CHANGE (1985)
Gry Jannicke Jarlum moved with her family to Sweden when she was twelve years old and won a major talent competition. In 1979 she moved back to Oslo and sang a bit with random bands, was discovered and in 1981 she got a record deal with the company Talent. Her debut album Min stil reached third place on the VG-lista, and her last album was a pure top 5 album; My Rock'n'roll Album (1982). This was followed by Draculas Datter (1983), where she had gone back to 80s rock again. It was around this time that she formed her own backing band, which continued the collaboration after they had nothing to do with Jannicke anymore, under the name Road. Album number four came in 1985, Change. Much of the music on it consisted of heavy rock, but with some more modern musical elements, such as rap.
