Description
Ida Jenshus from Steinkjer won the talent competition "Lyden av slødd" which aired on NRK1 in the fall of 2007. In the spring of 2008 she recorded her first album in Lars Lien's studio with Håkon Gebhardt as producer. The musicians included Lars Håvard Haugen (from Hellbillies) on mandolin, Skjalg Raaen (from Åge Aleksandersens Sambandet) on guitar and Lien and Gebhardt on piano and banjo respectively. From her debut album, Color Of The Sun , two singles were released, "These Are The Days" and "For The Nation". For the album she won the Spellemannprisen 2008 in the country category.
