HEGE TUNAAL – OLJE, BRØD OG VIN (1972)

Hege Tunaal is a Norwegian singer and singing teacher. She has also taken part in several cabaret and theater performances, and is known, among other things, for her interpretation of Mikis Theodorakis' music. She was awarded the Spellemannprisen together with Lars Klevstrand for the album Ola Skutvik og Mariann (1983), where they interpreted Hartvig Kiran's music. She and Klevstrand also published Dobbeltportrett (1969) together. Other albums include the solo debut Olje, brød og vin (1972), Vide med vind (1974) and Ildfluer (2003). At Norsktoppen, Tunaal had the greatest success in 1973 with I Lover's Lane and Over the bridge, and in 1974 with Kiran's Aldri meir.

On her second album, she interprets everything from Leonard Cohen to Ole Paus. The texts are from, among others Inger Hagerup and Jens Bjørneboe.
