THE HEAD SET JUNTA – MUSIKK FOR DE INTIME SALONGER (1983)
Trio consisting of Øyvind Bjørnsen, Geir Juveng and Thomas Robsahm. Released the cassette Musikk For De Intime Salonger on Neronastri/Shit Tapes in the spring of 1983 and played a handful of concerts during its short life. Genre: somewhere between New Wave, Synth-pop, Minimalist pop music. The name came from the fact that they always had to practice with headsets so as not to disturb family and neighbours. Also, the band The Monochrome Set had a song called The Jest Set Junta, so they had to make their own twist on it.
