Hans Rotmo made his debut in the 1960s in the local group Valley Boys in his hometown of Verdal and later became the frontman and songwriter for Vømmøl Spellmannslag. Fæst i natt - Stjørdalsviser by Hans Rotmo is a music cassette made by the well-known musician Hans Rotmo. The cassette was released in 1992 in connection with the 100th anniversary of Stjørdalens Blad. In addition to Hans Rotmo, the following musicians played on the release: John Uthus (guitar), Stein Larsen (organ), Oddvar Krogstad (bass) and Jan Sakshaug (drums). Regarding one of the songs, "Bønder i rulletrapp", Rotmo stated that he had found the story on microfilm at Stjørdalens Blad and made the song based on this source material.
