HANNE KROGH – NÆRBILDE (1980)
Hanne Krogh has an enormous catalogue. Child star, Christmas star, MGP star, pop star. "Nærbilde" is the second album by Hanne Krogh, and was released on EMI in 1980. After the debut Hanne Krogh in 1978, Hanne Krogh had put the song on the shelf again, and continued working as a scriptwriter at NRK. Hanne's producer, Ole Vidar Lien contacted her in 1980, and wondered if she could record a Norwegian version of the Finnish/Swedish song "Höstvisa" by Tova Jansson, with a melody by Erna Tauro. Hanne translated it himself, and the recording was done in "one take", and the song was sent out as a single, and went straight into Norsktoppen. It also became the most popular song on the radio program Ønskekonserten in 1980. Hanne was thus back as a singer, and EMI wanted to make a brand new album with her. The band consisted of Pete Knutsen's orchestra, where Pete Knutsen played whatever instruments he came across, Arne Schulze on guitar, Terje Methi on bass, Thor Andreassen on drums and Knut Riisnes on saxophone and flute.
