Grethe Kausland was a multi-talented singer, actress, revue artist and comedian. She was one of the first child stars in Norway, and had a fruitful collaboration with Dizzie Tunes for many years. Her catalogue ranges from children's music to soul and jazz. In 1978 she released A Taste of Grethe Kausland , an album that was at the intersection of pop and disco. Six years later came this little gem, where she brought together musicians such as Pete Knutsen, Thor Andreassen, Henryk Lysiak, Rolf Løvland, Morten Halle and Edvard Askeland – in addition to a string orchestra.
