ESPEN RUD – HOTEL SUITE (1985)
Espen Rud is a Norwegian percussionist, composer and arranger, known from numerous recordings and collaborations with Karin Krog and Dexter Gordon, within Terje Rypdal's trio Min Bul, the free jazz band Svein Finnerud Trio and the Chet Baker Quartet, to name a few. He also led the band Kråbøl (1978–83), from which performances can be heard on Espen Rud's release Hotelsuite (Odin Records, 1984), with musicians Rob Waring, Elin Rosseland, Frode Thingnæs, Terje Venaas, Tore Brunborg, Karin Krog and Vigleik Storaas. Arild Andersen produced.
