In 2001, a new comedy duo saw the light of day on NRK. Childhood friends Stein Johan Grieg Halvorsen (48) and Erlend Klarholm Nilsen (45) made their breakthrough over 20 years ago in the entertainment program "Slå på ring". The duo, better known as Erlend & Steinjo, served up musical performances packed with a good dose of humor in the popular program, and they are particularly known for songs like "Potetgullsangen" and "Friday Fahrenheit".
