ERIK BYE – VI GÅR OM BORD (1960)
Vi går ombord was released in 1960. This Erik Bye's first LP record as a solo artist. Vi går ombord was also a radio program which Bye hosted from 1959 to 1965 and which from 1963 to 1970 was simulcast with television. The radio program series were entertainment programs with and about Norwegian sailors, and gathered an entire nation in front of the radio sets. the TV programme Vi går ombord only aired on Christmas Eve, while the radio program ran as a regular item until 1963. The record contains one of his biggest hits "Anna Lovinda". Willy Andresen's Orkester plays on the record and guests include, among others, Alf Prøysen, Bente Moe, Jacob Sande and Robert Norman's Trio.
