The book about DØDEN PÅ OSLO S will tell about the conception, creation and launch of the Norwegian film classic through interviews with Ingvar Ambjørnsen, Eva Isaksen, other staff and of course the actors. It is also an examination of the inner capital in 1990: Urban decay, alienating renewal and the heyday of rock's Big Four. The book will also discuss the film's changing status, from cinema favorite via Lena parodies to success at the National Theater on Økern.
Einar Aarvig is a film critic in Dagbladet, P4 and Periskop and a journalist in Rushprint and Plan: Tidsskrift for byplannelling.
