Description
DREAM – GET DREAMY (1967)
The Dream is referred to as the first Norwegian supergroup, composed on the pattern of Cream with the front figures taken from several leading bands. The group was formed in 1967 by guitarist Terje Rypdal from The Vanguards, bassist Hans Marius Stormoen and organist Christian Reim from Public Enemies and drummer Tom Karlsen from The Sapphires. The Dream took Svein Erik Børja as producer and went to Sweden in July 1967 to record their first and only album Get Dreamy. Rumors about the wonderful LP they had recorded in Stockholm began to swirl, but almost the whole year passed before the record was out on the market just before Christmas in 1967. Get Dreamy was on the VG list for 16 weeks and was up to fifth place in December 1967.
