The Vestfold Band Briskeby debuted with a bang in 2000 with the album Jeans for Onassis in 2000. The album, fronted by the hit single "Propaganda", went on to sell a whopping 130,000 copies. That same year, the band achieved a grand slam at the Spellemannprisen and were awarded four trophies when they won the awards for Newcomer of the Year, Artist of the Year and Pop Group of the Year for the album, as well as "Propaganda" being the song of the year.
