Boastein 's debut album Jeg har min egen luke is something of a holy grail in alternative music here at home. This is home-made rock from the anarchist basement with a sound and some lyrics that you have hardly heard the likes of. It is also one of the very first independent releases in this country, and makes a strong impression on everyone who hears it. The album can be described as free and progressive underground rock with black humor, political sting and bizarre whims. This is the debut album of Boastein , which was started by Are Storstein and Øistein Boassen all in 1970. The record was first released in 1977, and was printed in 399 copies at the time and goes for staggering sums in second-hand shops.
