Stig Sæterbakken was never to be quite the same after he had his first meeting with DePress and Andrej Nebb as a fifteen-year-old.
In this book, he tells the story of how this band, with its quirky Balkan punk and raucous lyrics, was able to have an unexpected success in Norway, in the middle of a musical and political upheaval at the beginning of the eighties.
Stig Sæterbakken (b. 1966) made his debut as an author in 1984. His books have been translated into several languages, including Russian, Turkish and American. The latest publication is the novel Through the night (2011).
