BERANEK – THE RED FILE (1988)
Beranek has released 7 studio albums and a compilation album since his debut in 1981. He has explored the dense vegetation of the electronic jungle as well as the urban howl of its lighter side. He made his album debut with Sound of Danger in 1981, an album that is still considered one of the minimalist electronic releases of the 1980s. With the follow-up X-Ray (1983), Beranek collected the Spellemannprisen. During this time, he toured with the band Palass 5000, later Beranek Band, both at home and abroad. On his 6th album, Ellen K. Hvattum and Anne Hoseth contributed vocals, Henrik Cederberg on bass, while Beranek took care of the rest. The CD goes for 1000 kroner plus used.
