BEATE – LIKE A RIVER (1984)
Beate Jacobsen (born 1963 in Bergen) is a Norwegian musician and singer. She took part in Melodi Grand Prix 1984 which was held in Chateau Neuf with the song "Strand hotel" which ended up in 2nd place. Later that year, she made her record debut with the album Like a River, a star-studded record where Jonas Fjeld and Marius Müller play guitar, Paolo Vinaccia plays drums, Lars Kilevold and Atle Bakken play keys and Bent Bredesen and Hilde Heltberg sing. Beate has released several records afterwards.
