CORNELIUS JAKHELLN BACKSTREET GIRLS – BOOGIE TILL YOU PUKE
By 1988, the hard-playing boogie rock band Backstreet Girls had already worn out two vocalists. Then a third was in place behind the microphone, and everything clicked. Boogie Till You Puke introduced one of Norwegian rock's most classic line ups to record buyers: Petter Baarli (guitar), Bjørn Terje Baarli (drums), Pål Kristensen (bass) and Bjørn Müller (vocals). Boogie Till You Puke was sent to the press with a punch bag as an extra, and contains gems such as "Bondage Boogie", "Hangover in Hamburg" and "Boys Don't Go".
Cornelius Jakhelln is a writer and musician. He has studied philosophy, and has published a number of poetry collections and novels in various genres.
