Description
AUTENTISK FILM - KUTT (1984)
Autentisk Film consisted of the two twin sisters Anne Grete and Åshild Kolås who lived in Bergen at the beginning of the 1980s who made a form of new experimental electronic music - some have termed it industrial music - comparable to some of the artists such as Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, Clock DVA with several companies in the UK at the same time and in collaboration with other sizes in the Norwegian KZ movement such as Famlende Forsøk. Melodic, repetitive, rhythmically pulsating and slow or tenacious ambient in a way that gives a suggestive effect and declaims the society and the times in which they operated with cool alienation and which also pointed towards the early Norwegian electronic music. An exciting minimalist side track to nyveiv, new wave and the Norwegian punk movement of the early 1980s. In the meeting places between film, theatre, performance and music, they created an exciting audiovisual and aural experience that has stood the test of time. Kutt was their third release and was released on the cassette label Film.
