ÅSE KLEVELAND – VÆR VELKOMMEN (1973)
Åse Kleveland's album debut was in 1965 with the record Åse . Then there was MGP, Swedish album recordings, Big in Japan and orchestral music. In 1973 she released the orchestrated Vær velkommen, where Sigurd Jansen was in charge of the arrangements. This motley collection shows in Norwegian, Swedish, French and English includes her own melodies for Prøysen's "Skaff meg en synder" and "De rette trinn". The album was launched in its own TV show and nominated for the Spellemannprisen.
