ANNE-KARINE STRØM – CASABLANCAS DØTRE (1982)
Anne-Karine Strøm has represented Norway three times in the Eurovision Song Contest; 1973, 1974 and 1976. Strøm originally became known as a child star in 1963, but throughout the 1970s she became a vocalist in Finn Eriksen's orchestra and in the singing quartet Bendik Singers. She has previously been married to Frode Thingnæs and Ole Paus, and Strøm is the mother of the composer Marcus Paus. In addition to the many single records, Strøm released several long-players, including Album (1978), which was released on Paus' own Zarepta label. Here she had undergone a change of style towards a more serious form of pop music. In 1982 she released Casablancas døtre, an album almost entirely written by Ole Paus and produced by Marie Bergman.
