ALLE TIDERS DUSTER – RØDT LYS (1982)
Alle Tiders Duster was a new wave band from Bergen that was active from 1980 to 1984. The band originated in the city's punk milieu, and was among the more experimental new wave bands in Norway. They released two 7" and an LP, as well as participated in various performance events, as well as the film Carl Gustav, gjengen og parkeringsbandittene . Musically, the band drew a lot of inspiration from English post-punk bands such as Public Image Ltd and Magazine, as well as more experimental bands such as Einstürzende Neubauten and Throbbing Gristle. The band had at most three vocalists, which gave them a completely different leeway than bands with a traditional line-up. All Tiders Duster, or the Dusts as they were called, had only a limited impact outside their hometown.
