Åge Aleksandersen (born 1949) is a Norwegian rock artist who has played in Prudence, and is considered one of the pioneers of trønderrock. Over the years, around 1.5 million records have been sold with Aleksandersen, and practically all the records since 1980 have sold gold. Aleksandersen is said to have played over 5,000 concerts over the course of 55 years. Prudence was Norway's first pure rock band. In 2024, Aleksandersen stated that he and Sambandet would hold their last tour. Together with the approximately the same age Terje Tysland and Hans Rotmo, he was the central artist when trønderrock emerged in the 1970s. Ramp is a music album released by Åge Aleksandersen in 1980. For the album, he was awarded the Spellemannprisen in rock. The album sold 60,000 copies.
