ÅGE ALEKSANDERSEN – FRENCH ONLY (1979)
Åge Aleksandersen (born 1949) is a Norwegian rock artist who has played in Prudence, and is considered one of the pioneers of Trøndelag rock. Over the years, around 1.5 million records have been sold with Aleksandersen, and practically all of his records since 1980 have been certified gold. Together with the roughly the same age Terje Tysland and Hans Rotmo, he was the central artist when Trøndelag rock emerged in the 1970s.
French only is the fourth solo album from Åge Aleksandersen and was released in 1979. It included, among other things, the Prudence classic "14 Pages". The album sold 30,000 copies and was reissued on CD in Åge Aleksandersen's compilation album Åge-boks 1 (2009). The producer on French only was Ole A. Sørli.
