Description
The Aasen arose as an "ad-hoc project" in connection with the 100th anniversary of Ivar Aasen's (1813-1896) death in 1996. It had been an old Gartnerlosjen -planned to make a punk album with Aasen's lyrics, however, not everyone in the band was as enthusiastic. And so it came about that parts of Losjen, reinforced by Aslag Guttormsgaard on guitar and vocals, recorded the album Jubileumsplate for Ivar Aasen , produced by Ole Petter Andreassen. In retrospect, one can see that the project, together with SOUND (Play, Freedom of Expression, Democracy), formed the basis for Black Debbath .
