120 Days originally from Kristiansund, was formed in 2001 under the name The Beautiful People consisting of Ådne Meisfjord, Kjetil Ovesen, Arne Schrøder Kvalvik and Jonas Hestvik Dahl. The debut album of 120 Days was released in 2006 on the label Smalltown Supersound, and became perhaps the most critically acclaimed Norwegian album of the year. For the album, the band also won the Spellemannprisen 2006 in the categories "Rock" and "Newcomer of the Year".
