The debut single, \"Overload\", became the first English-language single on the Norsktoppen, where it was in first place for 11 weeks. The singles \"Santorini\" and \"Dangertown\" from the same album also became hits. The second album, Life, came in 1988, quickly followed by Brandth's solo album Tranquility. The band had their first released song on a compilation album from Kristiansand's rock scene in 1981 (with Lily \u0026amp; the Gigolos, among others), but then spent three years getting something further done. The single 20 Golden Lies appeared in 1984, and the LP Talking to the Moon followed the following year. In the latter year, Boys Voice also participated in the compilation LP Sammen for Lifet, and thus possibly became a little more known outside southern Norway. The debut LP was received reasonably well, and the band received praise for complex arrangements, Valberg's Mark Hollis-esque voice and generally that a Norwegian band had produced a reasonably good record. The idea was to realize a band founded on what Aune experienced as the substance of the album Highway To Hell - to purify AC\/DC's riff package with pump bass and flat drums, while the guitar riffs anticipated the prelude to the 1'er in the beat pattern. In the same year that FFF started, Aune also joined Raga Rockers as rhythm guitarist, where he remained until 2009. Fire Fæle Fyrer built up a solid live reputation, not least because of Berg's energetic stage show. They balanced on a knife's edge between appearing as an arrogant, roaring rock monster and the banality of an over-the-top macho-pubertal appearance. In 1989 they moved into Svein Solberg's new premises, Warehouse studio, in Chr. Kroghsgate, with Eystein Hopland as technician. Intence Music, the company of Raga Rockers, poured 50,000 into the production and released the album in 1990.
